IPad 2

The iPad 2 is the second generation of the iPad, a tablet computer designed, developed and marketed by Apple. It serves primarily as a platform for audio-visual media including books, periodicals, movies, music, games and web content, and is available in black or white. The Foxconn China-manufactured iPad 2 has a lithium-ion polymer batterythat lasts up to 10 hours, a new dual core Apple A5 processor and VGA front-facing and 720p rear-facing cameras designed for FaceTime video calling.

Apple unveiled the device on March 2, 2011, began selling it by website and retail stores on March 11, and released it in 25 other countries on March 25, including Australia, Britain and Canada. Apple announced that the iPad 2 would be released in Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore and other countries on April 29, 2011.

ERROR 3194 (APPLE)

If you run into Error 3194 within iTunes when you are trying to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, you can fix it by temporarily blocking Apple’s firmware signing services. Error 3194 seems to be triggered when unsigned firmware is used, often during an iOS downgrade or even during some restores. Here’s how to resolve the error:

Fix Error 3194

The fix is the same regardless of what operating system you are using:

• Quit iTunes
• Locate your hosts file, in Mac OS X this is /etc/hosts and in Windows this is c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
• Open the hosts file with Administrator privileges
• Add the following lines to the very bottom of the hosts file:
• 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
• Connect your iPhone to the computer
• Launch iTunes
• Put the iPhone/iPad/iPod into DFU mode by turning the phone off and then holding down the sleep and power button for 10 seconds, then release the power button but hold onto the home button until iTunes tells you that the device is now in recover mode
• Use the iTunes Restore feature as usual with the iOS device

Once your iOS update is finished, remove the “74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com” line from your hosts file again so that iTunes can properly update as usual. If you need them, you can get iPhone firmware, iPad firmware, and iPod touch firmware directly from Apple.

If you are wondering what the IP address is that you are reassociating gs.apple.com with, it’s saurik’s (of Cydia fame) signing server.

Gejala:

- Handphone nge-blank … alias layar tetap mati
- Lampu Led Mati – Idup berulang kali …. nyala merah sekitar 5 detik, dan mati sekitar 2-3 detik
- Kl dicolokin ke PC, bakal bunyi USB connect and disconnect sesuai dengan nyala LED

Kondisi ini yang disebut dengan “Nuked” Blackberry.

Solusinya:
1. Colok Blackberry + USB ke PC
2. Install OS Blackberry yang bersangkutan, coba dulu dengan versi 4.5 – jika tidak ada hasil silahkan download dan install versi 4.2 (based on experience) – Jangan lupa hapus Vendor.xml
3. Aktifkan Desktop Manager
4. Klik App Loader – Start
5. Tunggu hingga muncul: USB-PIN: UNKNOWN … segera klik Next … kl gak keburu, ya tunggu aja sampe nongol lagi
6. Silahkan dilanjutkan proses seperti install / upgrade OS

Kl sampe sini langsung sukses, ya selamat !
Yang aku alamin … henpon akan tampil error 507.
Jadi Desktop Manager harus dimatiin dulu … en diulang proses dari no. 3 … dan seharusnya kali ini PIN udah bukan UNKNOWN lagi, tapi udah bisa dikenali. Nah kl gak ada sama sekali … silahkan reinstall Desktop Manager dengan pilihan Repair.

Lakukan proses hingga Blackberry bisa nyala normal dengan versi 4.2, barulah kemudian diupgrade ke 4.5

iPhone 5 release date might be most buzzing topic among tech geeks. The rumors about the iPhone 5 launch being in October have finally been confirmed: Apple has officially set iPhone 5 launch event for October 4. The invite of the event clearly says, “Let’s talk iPhone”. It has been very smartly presented: The date is indicated as part of the iOS calenda

Previously there had been lots of rumors about the iPhone 5 release date. Some reports were saying that it might be released in September while others were saying it might be released in October. The October 4 date was first hinted at by All Things D’s John Paczkowski last week. He reported that the new Apple CEO Tim Cook will officially announce the iPhone 5 during a special media event.

It has been reported that Apple has sent out invitations to an event on October 4 when theiPhone 5 announcement is expected. Jim Dalrymple from The Loop has posted on his blog that he has received the invitation by Apple and he will be at the event on October 4. For the very first time the event will be held at Apple’s Cupertino HQ, the famous campus address at 10am PT. Outsiders hardly ever visit the complex so seeing the company on its home turf this time is definitely going to create a rage among the media persons. Invitations are currently being distributed to select members of the press and it is being reported that a UK event is planned in the company’s Covent Garden store.

The invite of this event specifically says “Let’s talk iPhone”, besides the four iOS icons depictingthe date, time and location of the venue. The company remained silent about what the ‘event’ might launch. However, it is set to be something classic. And so it seems the official iPhone 5launch event is set to be on Tuesday, October 4, which is consistent with the day of the week of other major Apple media events. Apple has apparently blocked retail employees from taking days off the second week of October, which coincides with the rumored release of iOS 5, Apple’s new mobile operating system, and the iPhone 5.

It hasn’t been confirmed as yet whether Apple would be launching two smartphones that day or just one. The iPhone 5 release date has been the most talked about subject in recent months. There is very little known about the upcoming device except that it would feature the dual-core processor and a higher resolution camera.
